Man accused of killing Pop Smoke urges alleged shooter to use flower vase instead of gun | MUSIC

Pop Smoke was tragically killed in a home invasion on February 19, 2020. Corey Walkr, the only adult suspect charged with murder for home robbery, encouraged the use of a vase of flowers to be used by the 15-year-old alleged shooter instead of a gun.

Walker, 20, appeared in court on Friday (October 15th). According to Rolling stone reports, his lawyer, Christopher Darden, has filed a motion to dismiss the murder and robbery charges brought against his client. He claims that Walker did not want to use a gun. Darden says Walker “attacked” the attacker after he opened fire on Pop Smoke.

“It is clear from the evidence that [Walker] he did not enter the house, was not armed and did not personally kill the victim, “Darden’s proposal said. “Furthermore, the evidence is clear that the defendant did not share the killer’s intent to kill.”

Darden also claims that his client “did not plan this crime” and “stayed outside, sitting in the driver’s seat” of a car that was shared by him and his grandmother.

Walker knew about the weapon, but he didn’t want it to be used. “If the suspects have to defend themselves, they should use a vase of flowers instead of shooting someone,” Darden said.

When the other four robbers returned to the vehicle, Darden said Walker then learned of the shooting and his reaction was an attack on the shooter.

Darden hopes Walker’s accusations will subside, telling Rollingstone, “Maybe we’ll have a solution soon.” We all realize that my client didn’t kill anyone. ”

The hearing on the new proposal is on December 3. It is estimated that Walker’s 4-week trial will begin within 90 days of the aforementioned date.
