Alvin Kamara Released On $ 5,000 Bond Following Battery Charge

Roommates, new information has become available about New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara’s Las Vegas arrest. In video surveillance, Alvin is reportedly seen punching a man approximately eight times before his associates proceeded to stomp him out several times while he was on the ground in a casino on Saturday morning. According to the police report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Alvin and his crew left the man with severe injuries.

Reports state that the victim, Darnell Greene, was knocked unconscious and suffered an orbital fracture to his right eye, among other injuries. Surveillance video shows what happened before the incident. He conversed with a woman while waiting for an elevator with a large crowd leaving the Cromwell Casino at Drais After Dark Club.

When the elevator doors opened, Darnell attempted to walk toward the elevator along with the large party but was stopped by Alvin, who put his hand on his chest, stopping him. Darnell said he then pushed Alvin’s hand off his chest, and the baller retaliated by pushing the victim hard enough to cause him to stumble back. Following the push, the victim recalled being jumped by Alvin and his friends and losing consciousness. In addition, reports state Alvin punched him approximately eight times, including three times after falling to the ground.

The attack didn’t stop there. Three others from Alvin’s group allegedly began stomping the man in the face, chest, and legs. One of his associates stomped Darnell out approximately 16 times. Once security arrived, the incident was broken up, and Alvin and his party were escorted out of the property. Alvin has been released from jail after posting a $ 5,000 bond and is due in court on March 8th.
