093: Tips for New Year’s goals and decisions


Hello friends! This is the season for resolutions and goal setting and I LOVE the excitement of a bright, shiny new year. I’m going to share my goals and thoughts next week on the blog, but for today’s podcast episode, I wanted to share some of my best tips for setting goals this year. 093: Tips for New Year’s goals and decisions

– Aim for SMART goals: concrete, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely.

– Ask yourself “why” over and over again until you realize your true motivation between your goals.

– Choose something that makes you excited, or something that will benefit you in some way.

– Create an action plan with specific indicators for your purpose throughout the year.

– ACT as if you have already achieved this goal.

– Remind yourself of your three best goals every day and put these reminders in a prominent place.

– Do not be afraid to turn around, as priorities and circumstances change throughout the year. If something doesn’t work out, think of it as FEEDBACK, not FAILURE.
