Social media star Adalia Rose has spent much of her life reporting on premature aging, and she has touched the hearts of many. It is with sadness that we announce that Adalia died at the age of only 15.
Adalia’s family revealed her death to millions of fans on Instagram and Facebook in a touching statement.
“On January 12, 2022, at 7 pm, Adalia Rose Williams was released from this world,” the statement said. “She came in quietly and left quietly, but her life was far from that. She touched MILLIONS of people and left the biggest imprint on everyone who knew her. She is no longer in pain and is now dancing to all the music she loves. ”
Adalia Rose gathered more than 15 million followers on social media as she documented her journey with Hutchinson-Guilford’s progeria syndrome, a rare genetic disease that causes children to be eight years old for the entire year they live. Diagnosed with the disorder at just 3 months, Adalia experiences symptoms such as delayed development and alopecia.
Although she lives with a progeria, Adalia found joy in sharing makeup tips, fun moments with family members and showcasing her great personality.
Many fans and stars, including designer Michael Costello, sent their condolences to Adalia’s family, sharing sweet messages about the impact she has had on this world.
“My heart is broken. I received a message at 19:00 last night, Adalia Rose Williams was called home to God. I have no words and I can’t stop crying,” Costello, who previously designed a dress for Adalia, said on Instagram. “She was an angel. Despite the card she was dealt with, she had the most positive attitude and so many dreams of helping everyone around her.”
