Young Dolph rests in Memphis (video) Celebrity News

On Tuesday, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to Memphis legend Adolf Robert Thornton Jr., better known as Young Dolph. The rapper and his father were laid to rest in their hometown of South Memphis. Although it was a grim occasion, he seemed fit for a king.

Memphis local Fox 13 reporter Jeremy Pierre was at the scene and filmed the procession leaving the funeral home, where there was a heavy police presence. Jeremy said that celebrities were present and mentioned that she was the R&B singer Monica. Monica talks online about Dolph’s role in her life, as she recently shared memories of the two in his memoirs.

Jeremy also shared Dolph’s obituary, which he had warm moments with some of his relatives, including his grandmother. One of the photos shows them together as she flies a plane for the first time. Another page was dedicated to Dolph with the children and his wife Mia Jay. Dolph was laid to rest in Culvery Cemetery, just opposite Hamilton High School, where he attended as a young man. Dolph carried South Memphis on his back and did his best to bring him back to his community.

Last March, he donated $ 25,000 to schools that went directly to new sports equipment and supplies, according to WREG. At the time, Dolph spoke to the radio station about the large donation, saying it was important for students to have someone to trust.

“That’s why I do it for children and young people,” said Dolph. “They are looking at me. It would be different if I didn’t know it or didn’t think about it, or if I was so in love with myself that I focused on myself or what was happening. As if not, they are literally looking at us. ” No one is currently being held in the fatal Dolph shooting that took place on November 17 at Makeda’s Butter Cookies in Memphis. Our thoughts continue to point to his loved ones. May his legacy live forever!
