if you were in step with CES 2022, you’ve probably already added a bunch of widgets to your wish list. There are many things that will not be ready until the second half of this year – some may never see the light of day – but don’t worry! We’ve put together our favorite CES devices that are already available for purchase or pre-order. We are talking about headphones, smart watches, projectors and snowbikes. Here’s what you can add to your cart right now.

Home, sex technology and Wi-Fi routers

Veterinarians say automatic waste bins, while convenient, make it difficult for owners to keep track of their cat’s trips to the bathroom – which can be useful in signaling any potential illness. Leo’s Loo Too solves this with a built-in sensor that tracks how often your cat walks, along with its weight, and syncs data with a companion app on your phone. It comes with additional features such as UV sterilization and radar to protect the box from self-cleaning while your cat is nearby.

This device gives new meaning to “bird watching”. This cute little pet not only feeds birds, but also its battery-powered camera offers live streaming through the connected app. If this is not fun enough, he will take pictures of the birds mentioned, identify the species and present many facts about each of them. It will not be shipped for a while, but you can receive your order now.

Need an extra layer of security at home? Ring’s new glass breakage sensor can detect burglary attempts through glass windows and doors from a distance of up to 25 feet. You’ll need Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro to use it, and you can configure the sensor to trigger a siren when it detects broken glass. It is currently available for pre-order in a single package for $ 40 or in two packages for $ 70. The projector is not the type of gadget you will always keep with you, but Samsung want to be. Its Freestyle projector is designed for portability – just plug it into your laptop via USB-C or HDMI ports (or transfer via Android / iOS) and point it at any surface. With 1080p resolution, a 360-degree speaker and a screen that varies between 30 and 100 inches, this thing is small but powerful. Also available on Amazon.

TCL says the demand for larger screens is high. That’s why it’s launching a massive 98-inch model on its existing Class XL TV for a whopping $ 8,000 – yes, you read that right. This version works with Google TV and has a QLED panel. TCL also announced that its 2022 TV models will be available with an option for Android TV or Roku OS. Class XL is currently out of stock, but check again if this changes.

If you want to upgrade your home theater projector, see Hisense’s PX1-Pro. Its picture diameter is 90 to 120 inches, 4K resolution and 60-Hz refresh rate for games. It also works with Android TV, so you’ll have access to Google Assistant and a variety of streaming apps to choose from.

They are expensive, but NetGear’s Orbi Quad-band Mesh WiFi 6E router system is ideal for those with very large homes. It has support for the latest Wi-Fi 6E standard and combined speeds of 10.8 Gbps for up to 9,000 square feet.

Dame’s Com Magic Wand is a vibrator that has the company’s strongest engine to date and has five different intensity settings and models to choose from. Its design allows flexible neck and curved handle, which makes it easier to find the right angle and grip. It is made of medical silicone and is available in two colors: periwinkle and quartz.

Smart watches, headphones and other technologies

It’s been two years since Skagen released a new version of its Falster smartwatch. The new model has a 42 mm case and offers several different colors and styles to choose from (including the combination of silver and espresso leather shown above). It runs Google’s Wear OS with Qualcomm’s latest Wear 4100+ processor to give you more efficient battery life, optimized performance and improved health tracking. Its interior elements are identical to the Fossil Gen 6 we tested last year, which you can read more about in our guide to the best smartwatches. It is expected to receive the new update of Wear OS 3 later this year.

Garmin has expanded its Venu smartwatch range with Venu 2 Plus. You can now use it to answer calls on both iOS and Android, as well as talk to your preferred voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant or Bixby) through the built-in microphone. The 43 mm case is available in powder gray, black and gold (they are all made of stainless steel, combined with a matching silicone watch strap).

Those who don’t want to spend nearly $ 500 on a Garmin can opt for the much more affordable Vivomove Sport Hybrid instead. Unlike the Venu 2 Plus, this one resembles a traditional analog watch. But it can still track your basic fitness workouts – with blood oxygen measurements.

Not a fan of weird colored headphones? Snag JLab’s Go Air Tones, available in a wide range of skin tones and designed to blend in with your ears. For only $ 20, they are not first-class tips, but offer IPX4 perspiration resistance and eight hours of battery life (according to JBL).

Smart Pepper Spray may sound weird, but it can be a feature you didn’t know you wanted. When connected to the app, it will send an alert to your emergency contacts with your exact location when you spray it. Even if you don’t want to use the box right away, you can still use the app to send your location to family or friends so they can track you until you indicate you’re safe.

Formerly known as the AeroPex line, Shockz’s OpenRun Pro headphones pack the company’s bone conduction technology, which vibrates the bones in your head through sound waves – sending audio directly to your inner ear. This way you can still hear the ambient noise while listening to music. Other features include water resistance IP55, up to an hour and a half battery life after five minutes of charging and 10 hours of battery life in general.

If you’re like me, you tend to lose a lot of your wallet. Chipolo’s Card Spot is here to help. It is shaped like a credit card and you can simply drag it into your wallet to track it. It supports the Apple Find My network, so if you’re an Apple user and lose your wallet, you can track it with Find My on your Apple device. Android owners will have to look elsewhere.

If most of your gadgets have USB-C ports, Plugable’s USB4 Hub will be a useful addition to your home workstation. With three USB4 / Thunderbolt 4 ports and 10 gigabits per second USB-A port, you can use it to charge your devices and turn on various displays and other accessories.

Equipped with a new autonomous flight system powered by artificial intelligence, called KeyFrame, Skydio 2+ aims to help you capture smoother videos while operating sophisticated flight models. You can choose from a variety of configurations, including Starter Kit, Sports Kit, Pro Kit and Cinema Kit, which add accessories such as MicroSD cards, a hard case and a joystick controller.

Electric vehicles

Moonbike is not yours typical ebike – the front wheel is replaced by a single ski, while the snow protector, powered by an electric motor, takes the place of the rear wheel. This way you can ride it freely through the snow. With almost 200 pounds Moonbike can reach 26 miles per hour, but you only get about an hour of battery life. Those who can estimate the price can book their Moonbike now and it will be shipped later this month.

The market for electric pickup? You may want to wait for Chevy’s 2024 Silverado EV. It offers 400 miles on full charge (which is more than the standard 230-mile distance of the Ford F-150 Lightning EV) and comes with GM’s second-level autonomous driving mode, known as the Super Cruise. Currently available for pre-order, it offers a choice of two trim levels: the RST First Edition for $ 105,000 and the WT for the less intense $ 39,900. You can book it now, but it will not be delivered until the fall of 2023 and the summer of 2024, respectively.
