Madison LeCroy of Southern Charm is engaged to boyfriend Brett

E!: Will you show part of your new connection Southern charm next season?
ML: I showed a lot of my relationship in the first two years of filming. It was a toxic relationship and the relationship I am in now is as good and pure and I will defend this as much as I can. Therefore, I will not show any of this. He has no interest in that. You know, it’s going to be hard for people to understand and see my life, but I think a lot of people who’ve been in this industry understand that it’s worth keeping it to yourself.

This is not my first rodeo. People will try to break everything that makes people happy or positive, so I have no doubt that things or something like that will be said, but the connection I have with my fiancé and this love is so obvious.

E!: How long have you been with Brett?
ML: We will continue for seven months. You know when you know. When I saw him, I immediately understood. I wasn’t scared either. There were no red flags. He was a complete angel to me and not only that, but my son.

E!: Have you already told Patricia Altshul about your engagement?
ML: I want to see her in person and you know I don’t want her FaceTime or anything like that. I want to go there after all this has been said and done and share the news and I think she will be happy for me. I’m dying to tell her. We’ve been close since I was 18 or 19. I am now 31. Her son Whitney [Sudler-Smith] not yet married or anything, so I think I’m like filling the void for a daughter-in-law or if she ever wanted a daughter.

E!: What does Brett think about being in the public eye?
ML: He is a shy, calmer person who is extremely supportive. He’s like, “Oh, these people want to be photographed with you, you have to make her a big fan. He really supports and encourages me. He’s not jealous of me, of my success or anything like that. He’s got mine.” came back and is my teammate.

You don’t work with your ex every day [Austen Kroll]but he is not at all insecure and has no reason to be. He knows that Austin and I have water under the bridge and we are friends now.
