For today’s post, I wanted to share some of my favorite gift ideas for pure beauty, if you cross out items from your shopping list for the holidays.
I LOVE that pure beauty has become more common in the last few years and more and more people are interested in supporting brands for pure makeup and beauty. When I first entered the world of pure beauty and skin care – when I was pregnant with Liv! – There were not many options available. It was amazing to see that it became more and more popular and safer options for the whole family, appearing on the shelves of skin care stores, babies and children. If you are shopping for any of your friends or family members who are interested in safer skin care products and clean beauty products, I decided to share a list of some of my best gift ideas!
Gift ideas for pure beauty
With how unregulated we are in some industries in the United States, it’s surprising to see how severely underregulated we are when it comes to the products we apply to our skin. Our skin is our largest organ and directly absorbs the ingredients of the product, whether it is makeup, lotion, detergent, oils, sunscreen and more. I feel that the current structure is “safe until it is proven to be dangerous” and the United States still allows over 1,600 potentially harmful ingredients in skin care and cosmetics products. (even skin care products and baby bath!). We still have ingredients that are likely carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, heavy metals, parabens and preservatives. Check the ingredient label and look for clean ingredients that you understand, and it’s also helpful to scan products using the EWG Healthy Living app. He will evaluate the products according to their ingredients and indicate anything that may be problematic. Here are some of my favorite gift ideas for pure beauty, including the wonderful new holiday line of Beautycounter, plus some other brands that I personally use and love.
Makeup, lips and palettes
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Magic Kit – while Glow Recipe ingredients are not * perfect * (they use a ‘scent’ which is a trade secret to hide chemicals), they are definitely a better option than many shelf products and work extremely well. good. I use their watermelon mask every week or so for a little more lifting because the texture is great and smells beautiful.
Clean Sweep Hyaluronic Lip Balm Duo – both balms are formulated with ultra-moisturizing murumuru and mango oils, which keep the lips happy and healthy.
Ready Set Makeup Trio – this one has three favorites: a mini Jellie (a small lip gloss with gloss), our new mascara and a creamy shade of moonlight. I love the eye shadow and you can also use it as a highlighter.
Beyond Lip Gloss minis – this is my favorite lip gloss! It is not sticky, the perfect amount of shine and includes real vanilla. Every year I give mini versions of Liv’s friends with their Christmas presents. You can also split this set and use it as socks!
This Tarte eye shadow palette is my current palette. I have super sensitive eyes and Tarte always works well for me. The colors are wonderfully neutral, and the shades work for all skin tones.
Color-intensive lipstick – it lasts for hours and is smooth and hydrating, not on a cake like some of the other long-lasting lipsticks I’ve tried. Brunch is a neutral purple color (my everyday color), Girls Night is a classic red, and Garden Party is a bright pink.
Skin care gift sets that will make your skin glow

If you want to pamper yourself with an exquisite serum, this is my choice. It feels like a DREAM and this pure skin care brand from Italy uses beautiful and pure ingredients. All Furtuna products do not contain parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes / dyes, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sodium laurate sulfate (SLES), ethanolamines / TEA / MEA / ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), hydroquinone, mineral oil, plus another 1300+ ingredients banned by the European Union.
Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Skincare Value Set – fresh is another brand I use and trust (not perfect, but much better) and their products are wonderful and work extremely well. The deep hydration cream of Rose in this set is the one I love because it is super thick and moisturizing.
Bath and body
Body oil in citrus rosemary. This oil is super silky and light and not greasy at all.
Good Scents Bath Oil trio – these bath oils are formulated with avocado and jojoba oil and flavored with essential oils.
If you have dry winter skin, check out this gift set from Target. I’m a big fan of this brand – we use their lotion and body wash – and everything is super hydrating, cruelty, vegan and includes coconut oil and shea butter.
Fragrance ideas for lovers of pure beauty
Phlur is my little secret for the most beautiful perfume made with pure ingredients. You can request a sample package and choose the one you like the most! (A little tip: I keep the samples in my makeup bag and my bag when we’re out.) Perfume was such a problem for me because I like to smell beautiful, but I hate the ingredients in conventional perfumes. Ordinary essential oils do not last very long. This is the best of all worlds: wonderful, TRUE perfumes, but made without schematic ingredients.
