An unfortunate incident on the set ended in premature death. Actor Alec Baldwin fired a gun while filming the upcoming movie “Rust” in New Mexico, where around 1:50 p.m. He accidentally hit camerawoman Halina Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza, according to CNN. Halina was transported to the hospital by helicopter and unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. She was pronounced dead by medical staff at a New Mexico University hospital, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.
Director Joel was transported to Christus St. Regional Medical Center. Vincent by ambulance to his wound.
