Wendy Williams Gives Update On Her Health: “I Have The Mind And Body Of A 25-Year-Old”

Wendy Williams has cleared all the chatter surrounding her health, finances and self-titled talk show. In an exclusive interview with ‘Good Morning America,’ she reassured fans that she is “absolutely” in her “sound mind” during this time. And the popular host had a few words for anyone who assumes otherwise.

A Health Update

“Well, you know, when people want to control their accounts, they say anything including something crazy like that about me,” Wendy said.

The interview was conducted over the phone with GMA’s TJ Holmes. TJ later revealed that Wendy is back at home in New York, but “couldn’t be able to go on camera” for the conversation. Nonetheless, Wendy had plenty to say, especially about her mental and physical health.

“Health is very well,” Wendy told TJ “And I’ve actually had a few appointments. You know, I’m 57 but now. And I’ve got the mind and body of a 25-year-old. “

Legal Battle With Wells Fargo

Concerns about her health have not only inspired online rumors and media headlines, but a power move by Wendy’s bank. Per court documents previously obtained by ‘Page Six, Wells Fargo requested a court hearing to determine whether Wendy’s coins need a handler.

This move reportedly came after Wendy’s former financial adviser Lori Schiller made allegations that the host was “of unsound mind.” Court documents also say the bank requested a conservatory because it believes Wendy “is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.” The host has denied this allegation.

In her talk with TJ, she revealed that the bank froze her account. Their action reportedly prevented her from handling certain responsibilities like her mortgage payments and employee payroll.

“They say that I need somebody to handle my account and I don’t want that,” Wendy said. “I want all my money. I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my entire life. My entire life. I don’t lie. I don’t cheat and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hard-working person. ”

Wendy On Returning To TV

Wendy also spent time addressing the end of her daytime talk show. In February, Debmar-Mercury, the ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ distributor, announced the end of the talk show after 14 seasons. Sherri Shepherd, one of the guests during Wendy’s hiatus, will be given the primetime slot for her own self-titled series, ‘Sherri.’

Still, Wendy seemed confident that she’ll be returning to the television screen sooner than we think.

“Give me about three months. There are private things that I have to deal with and then I’ll be ready to come back and be free and ready to do my thing, ”she said.

Before the interview call ended, she also shared a message for her followers.

“This is what I would love to say to my Wendy watchers: Keep watching because I’m going to be back on the Wendy show bigger and brighter than ever,” Wendy said.
