Hello friends! how is your day It is rainy and beautiful here, so we enjoy a slow morning before meeting friends.

As we end the year, it’s always fun and insightful to go back and see which publications and pages performed best. This gives me some idea of the types of posts you like to see here on the blog, as well as how people find me! I use this as inspiration to create content throughout the year, along with your amazing suggestions for surveys and feedback. 100% of the time, it also encourages me to continue to be my random self everywhere. 😉

Top publications and pages of 2021

1. How to set up your Peloton bike or any spin bike

I am proud of this post and I was delighted to see it at the top of the list. Peloton does a lot of things really well, but I think they miss the point when it comes to tuning bikes, especially for novice riders. The instructional video is insanely short and misses a bunch of important parts and tips, so I created my own. I think it would be profitable if they had a free virtual tuning call with a specialist and this would help so many riders to have a safer and more enjoyable ride.

2. How to keep your guinea pig cage clean

This is the most casual post for a fitness blog, but it is important. 😉 When we first got our guinea pigs, I was determined that our house could not smell of hay or barn. I did hours of research on guinea pig care and cell cleaning, and finally found a good method. If your children are asking about guinea pigs, be sure to check out this post along with this post about guinea pig care.

3. Review of PiYo 1 month

This post always tops the list because people are looking for reviews for PiYo, but that’s not my best work. The photos aren’t great and may need updating, but since it keeps performing well, I don’t touch it.

4. We painted our Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee cabinets

It was a huge project, but I’m glad we did! This made such a noticeable difference in our kitchen, and we saved at least a thousand dollars by doing it ourselves.

5. How to combine Peloton with other workouts

When you take a Peloton bike, it can be difficult to mix these workouts with your current routine. I break everything down in this post and explain how to create a balanced plan while still enjoying your Peloton.

6. How to PR your Peloton bike

Another post about Peloton! In this I break all the ways you can set a new personal record (PR) without cheating, or calibrating your bike again. (<- yes, people do that.)

7. Make your own shower steam with essential oils

This is an older post, but I like this recipe! She also makes unique and beautiful ideas for home-made gifts. This post reminded me to go back to DIY beauty posts because I love creating them. 🙂

8. How to make tempeh good taste

Tempeh can be so delicious, but also super nasty. (Never put it in a slow cooker. I learned this the hard way!) In this post, I’m sharing some of my favorite methods for cooking at an amazing pace.

9. Morning detox drink

This morning detox drink combines lemon, apple cider vinegar, hot red cayenne and honey. It is warming, tasty and provides a good immune system and boosts metabolism. I haven’t been drinking it regularly lately, but now that the weather is getting colder, I definitely want to start drinking it again.

10. Top 5 easy healthy dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner

All these dishes are still in our current rotation! I love quick and easy recipes and these are some of our family’s favorites.

11. Tips for getting used to a pot of two nani

A summary of the time my mother and grandmother trained Liv for 24 hours. Although some parts of parenting were incredibly challenging (health, reflux, and postpartum depression), I handled potty training easily. Mom and Nani were training Liv the potty, and P. was training the potty herself when she was 18 months old. (She shouted, “NO MORE DIAPERS,” so I said to myself, “Okay, don’t forget to tell me when you need to go to the potty.” And she did. The end.) Miracles happen, I tell you.

12. Make your own grazing boxes

This is a great idea for an appetizing party or gift! Instead of making a large sausage board, you can divide them into pastry boxes or cups for individual portions.

13. How to train for a half marathon during strength training

When you train for a half marathon, it’s easy to let strength training go away. BUT, it can significantly help with performance, injury prevention and recovery. In this post, I share some ideas for strength training as you build your mileage and speed, plus a plan you can follow. My good friend Lindsay has used this plan for all her recent half marathons and has crushed her goals (under 2 hours!).

14. I removed my breast implants – my experience with explant surgery

Removing my breast implants was one of the best things I did for my healing. They were constantly burning, hurting and causing increased inflammation in my body. It was a big operation, but I would do it again tomorrow. I’m still getting used to my smaller tits, years later, but I feel my weight receding. They don’t hurt at all anymore and I’m so grateful that I took this step for my health.

15. Peloton training plan without the bike

This is a plan you can follow using in-app workouts, even if you don’t have a bike! While cycling classes are my favorite, I also love yoga, meditation and outdoor running and walking.

16. Best classes from the Peloton app

In this post I share my best classes from the Peloton app! I definitely think I can update this post because they have added so many new classes and suggestions.

17. Pure Barre vs. barre3 – who is better?

As a barre fanatic, I share my thoughts on these two popular forms of barre and which one I like the most.

18. Fitness categories

So happy that you will still use the workouts in the fitness categories! I have published hundreds of workouts, from HIIT to strength, yoga, barbell and stretching, and I plan to publish much more in 2022.

19. How much cardio is too much?

Beat how much cardio you need to do for your goals. (Maybe less than you think!)

20. Homemade bites

These little bites are the perfect breakfast for a small child! They are a little sweet without being too strong and can be frozen in separate portions to enjoy throughout the week.

So tell me, friends: any publications you like from 2021? Something you would like to see here in the blog in 2022 ??

ho ho
