After the match, head coach Bruce Arians confirmed that Antonio is no longer on the team, according to ESPN.

“He is no longer Buk,” said coach Bruce. “This is the end of the story. Let’s talk about the boys who went out there and won the game. “
When reporters pressed the reason for his release, the coach doubled his previous point.
“I am not talking about him. He is no longer part of the Bucs, “said coach Bruce.
ESPN sources say the player was not taken down before the outbreak. Instead, they say Antonio “gave up” and did not fly home with the Buccaneers.
Antonio leaves the field in the middle of the match
Distributed videos show Antonio taking off his T-shirt, pads and undershirt. He threw on the same black shirt and white gloves to play in the crowd. Videos show that teammates Mike Evans and O.J. Howard is trying to reassure Antonio before he leaves. Coach Bruce spoke to Fox Sports after the game and said he had tried to get the player back on the pitch but failed. Coach Bruce reportedly refused to “come out” after refusing twice.
“I’ve never seen anything like it in all my years,” said coach Bruce of Antonio, who is removing his equipment.
Antonio stopped because of a fake Covid-19 card
In early December, the National Football League stopped Antonio from presenting a fraudulent Covid-19 vaccination card. He had previously denied rumors of a fake card, but the NFL decided there was truth in the negotiations. He returned to Bucs last week after three games removed from the NFL.
