People who are new to eating real food often wonder how it is possible to cook any dish at home when you are a busy family. I cook most meals at home and I don’t feel too much. The reason is that I am always looking for simple dishes with one pot that I can quickly throw together. This tomato cabbage soup recipe is an example of an incredibly easy dish that is also delicious and healthy.

Tomato cabbage soup: Healthy comfortable food at best!

Although this dish is incredibly easy to prepare, it is also a powerful energy nutrient. Bone broth contains essential amino acids as well as vitamins and minerals. It can improve digestion, allergies, immune health, brain health and more. Bone broth is saturated due to the content of collagen, so that even vegetable soup becomes a whole meal.

Tomatoes contain a lot of antioxidant lycopene, as well as vitamin C, potassium, folate and vitamin K.

In addition, cabbage contains a lot of vitamin K, as well as vitamin C, folic acid, vitamin B6 and other nutrients.

As mentioned, this soup can be a stand-alone dish, but you can also pair it with a meat dish for a finer and well-rounded dish. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Prime Rib – An exquisite dish that is also incredibly easy to prepare (as long as you have time to perform).
  • Chicken cordon blen- A little more time consuming, this recipe is delicious and can be made ahead of time.
  • Crockpot Meatloaf – You can’t get any easier than meat cooked in a slow cooker!
  • Easy Chuck Roast – Another simple baking recipe that can be made in an instant pot or oven.
  • Italian Lemongrass Chicken – This recipe only takes 20 minutes, so it’s perfect for a busy night.

It’s also great with a little overheated protein from the night before. I used the soup as a cornerstone of very quick and easy dishes!
