New study lists Washington, Boston and Atlanta are the three best cities for single people

As people say, the numbers don’t lie! A study collects and breaks down numbers in 100 cities to find the best place for a single to match and blend. According to the apartment list, which curated the study, along with Bumblebee, Washington, Boston and Atlanta are the top three places for single people in 2021.

In disclosing the results, the apartment list offered some confidence to those who were marked by dating. It turns out that dating challenges can stem in part from where someone lives. That’s right, not all cities are equally filled with the opportunity to be won, dined and in love.

The survey measured four categories, including dating satisfaction, social satisfaction, access to meetings, and the percentage of single people. The total score for each city is the weighted average of the four individual scores. Dating satisfaction weighed 40 percent, while the other categories held 20 percent each in the study.

Overall, the study identified several trends among the evaluated single people. Obviously, the East Coast is the best coast to live out your romantic dreams. Six cities from the winning coast claimed seats in the top ten.
