Roommates, after an intense reaction on social media, Hulu withdrew the documentary about the Travis Scott tragedy in Astroworld from its streaming service. Earlier this week, many were shocked to see that Hulu had released a brand new documentary about the Travis Scott tragedy at Astroworld – but the reaction was clearly too great to keep it on the company’s streaming platform.

The special documentary on Astroworld (entitled “Astroworld: Concert From Hell”) was originally produced by ABC’s local news agency KTRK, based in Houston, Texas.

In an official statement, a Hulu spokesman explained the reasons for the decision to remove the documentary from its streaming service. “This was a special investigation of local news from ABC13 / KTRK-TV in Houston, which was originally broadcast on November 20. It was not a documentary about Hulu and has since been removed to avoid confusion, “the statement said.

The synopsis of “Astroworld: Concert From Hell” reads:

“Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival was to be the concert of a lifetime. But this has become a tragic nightmare. Look minute by minute at what happened in the crowd, the young victims who were killed, and what happens next. “

As previously reported, San Antonio, Texas attorney Thomas Henry has officially filed a multibillion-dollar lawsuit ($ 2 billion) on behalf of 282 victims of the fatal Astroworld music festival – and Travis Scott is at the center of it … but he he is not alone. Drake, Live Nation, NRG Stadium, Apple Music and a list of others are also mentioned in the case.

Speaking about the filing of the case, Henry said: “The defendants wanted to win a huge amount of money from this event, but still chose to reduce the angles, reduce costs and put those present at risk. My clients want to ensure that the accused are held accountable for their actions and want to send a message to all performers, event organizers and promoters that what happened at Astroworld cannot happen again.
