Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

[ad_1]

Hey friends! Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderful week. The kids had a few consecutive half days for school, so it was a little less in terms of productivity, but I loved taking them to lunch, to the park, and on some extra adventures. Today we meet the Pilot of the air show. The rest of the weekend should be pretty cool. We’re watching Harry Potter 6 (approaching!), head to a friend’s house for dinner and enjoy the beautiful weather in Tucson. I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend too!

Some photos from Halloween:

(We tried to take pictures of the guinea pigs in their costumes, but it was a huge failure. The donut was too small on it – it’s HUGE, like a hairy football haha - and the Cookie slipped out of its Wonder Woman suit for 0.2 seconds.)

Read, watch, listen:

That made me laugh so hard. We need a new dance movie!

Everyday ways we show children that we love them.

Why it is important to prioritize happiness.

I am fascinated by the benefits of extreme temperatures and this is an interesting study of the body’s ability to adapt and its effect on brown fat. (I will fully use our pool as a cold dive once it gets a little cooler!)

Exciting fitness news: next week I will have a birthday promotion for fitness plans! If you are looking for something new – either to start now or to save until the new year – watch for more details. This is the first time I’ve done this and I’m excited to share some of my best fitness plans with you with a sweet 50% discount.

A little inspiration for dinner during the week.

Try this dance cardio and strength combination!

Fashion + beauty:

I posted more items in my Poshmark (lots of sportswear) if you want to check it out here!

Sakara Beauty chocolates! I’ve admired them on the blog before, and although I don’t know how * well * they work, I admit that they bring me a little joy every morning. (I love a little chocolate bite with my morning coffee!) See them here and my code XOGINAH gives you a 20% discount from the Sakara site.

If you liked this cute Paige sweater, run nnnnnnnnnnnn here! I got this at a recent Trunk Club and sent it back for the price ($ 250). I immediately regretted it and decided to finally buy it. It now has a 65% discount! Here’s the link – they still have a lot of sizes available. Here it is also in pink.

Happy Friday friends!

xo
