Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

[ad_1]

Hello friends! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? We’re done picking up the Christmas stuff – it’s been a while, haha, and we’re celebrating Livy’s birthday! I can’t believe this little goose turns 10 tomorrow. They say time flies and they don’t lie. We brought her home from the hospital to the same house we are in now, where Bella kept her in her trash. The story of her birth in the blog here.

This girl is brilliantly smart, the sweetest friend, an amazing gymnast and dancer, she loves books, she is the best older sister and I can’t wait to see what she keeps doing.

(Someone hold me. And yes, tomorrow I will make our annual photo collage !!)

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and online. I always love to hear about your loved ones, so please call something you love in the comments section below.

Fashion + beauty:

I’ve been living with this jacket lately! It is super warm and cozy and the color makes me happy. I don’t wear pink almost as much as I used to, and I have to return it. 😉

Again, I share my obsession with these tanning drops. Here things looked a little pale and they add the perfect amount of natural looking complexion. They don’t smell awful and they don’t stain our white sheets. Win everywhere.

Read, watch, listen:

It made me laugh so hard I cried. And then I watched it a few more times.

Where are you now? The meaning of presence.

Are you obsessed with Charm soundtrack too? I often tell Tom that I am so happy to be alive with Lynn Manuel-Miranda. 😉 If you love the song too of Orgitas definitely check the meaning behind the text. Uffhhhhhhhh my heart.

What books are you reading this winter?

Definitely check out this week’s podcast episode with Dr. Stephen Cabral here!

I tried Sculpt Socie last week and I liked it even more than I thought. I’m excited to try another workout this weekend and will share the full post for review next week!

How exercise can protect your liver

I LOVE sliced salads and I can’t wait to try this version

This gluten-free cornbread! I followed this recipe, but since I didn’t have yogurt on hand, I used a small bowl of apple puree and almond milk to fill the remaining 1 1/2 cups of yogurt. It turned out perfectly – not too crumbly with the perfect amount of sweetness.

Happy Friday, friends! Have a nice weekend and see you soon.
