Balancing fitness and motherhood with Courtney Alcala –

[ad_1]

Hello friends! Today I’m talking to Courtney Alcala about balancing fitness and motherhood. It can be difficult to do all things, but she has some great tips and insights.

Here’s what we’re talking about:

– Balancing corporate career, training and life as a mother (her baby is 5 months old)

– Her experience in health and fitness

– Behind the scenes of the world of bikini competitions

and much more.

Here’s a little more about Courtney:

Courtney gained a double dose of determination and endurance, growing up as an army brat. A child of an intelligence analyst and a Green Beret, she learned how to assimilate, make friends quickly, and do things that were uncomfortable at an early age. In her youth, she was very involved with the youth group, showing horses, a dance team, canoe races and salsa dances.

Courtney’s mission is to build and nurture a fitness community of busy bee women who want support in balancing their wellness goals with their careers and family responsibilities. She works full-time as a traveling clinical research observer and remotely as a fitness trainer / community leader. Courtney is a signed fitness model and winner of the classic Arnold 2020 model search, which led to her first cover of the magazine. She has experience in teaching multiple GX classes (Pilates, shoe camp, body bar, bar, cardio dance, salsa, bachata, cha cha); tops; seminars; and opening gyms.

Courtney is an ACE certified personal trainer and holds a master’s degree in health education. Her dedication to providing quality education to her clients has led her to work with renowned athletes and athletic coaches. Courtney and her husband welcomed their first baby in May 2021. She looks forward to running her first STRONGCAMP since giving birth in the spring of 2022 and is currently working with groups of women in her fitness app to help them to fit into their “fitness” busy life.
