TV offers

Surprisingly many great TVs are on sale this weekend, making it a great time to upgrade for the cold season.

The LG C1 OLED is one of the most beautiful TVs you will find, thanks to the built-in organic LED technology, in which each pixel acts as its own backlight. That means perfect black levels. The TV will do up to 120hz refresh rate at 4K, and the super low input delay means it will easily double as a XXL gaming monitor. The 48-inch version is also for sale, although we recommend the larger size, which is also sold on Amazon.

The TCL 6 series is our favorite TV for most people, which is why we recommend this deal, although it is a relatively small discount. Quantum dot technology means bright and vibrant colors, Google TV’s built-in interface is excellent, and the mini LED backlight helps provide excellent contrast.

The cheaper 5 Series also has quantum dot technology and Google TV, but lacks a mini LED backlight, which makes the more expensive model with better contrast. The price will probably fall even more around Black Friday, but this is not a great year to wait.

Audio Gear

From headphones to soundtracks, this weekend has a lot of solid deals on our favorite audio equipment.

AirPods Pro are on sale for $ 192 for what it feels like forever. We found a real discount! These are the best wireless headphones for iOS diehards, which is actually a pretty steep cut for the Cupertino-based company. They are also sold at Walmart.

They are still our favorite sounding wireless headphones on the market, but the release of the Galaxy Buds2 has caused some big discounts for the older Galaxy Buds Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends). These pimples have better sound, noise reduction and appearance than Buds2.

If you’ve struggled with background noise but don’t want to play a few hundred more on Sony, Apple and Bose noise canceling headphones, these Jabra noise canceling headphones are probably just the ticket. They are super comfortable, have excellent battery life and are even waterproof – ideal for walking dogs on a rainy day.

JLab makes great wireless headphones at affordable prices, and Icon Air was worth the price when they cost twice as much. If you want a pair that you won’t have to worry about, this is a great purchase.

Polk’s React’s soundtrack line (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is cool because it allows you to slowly build a modular system. Start with this $ 199-enabled Alexa central element, then add Polk surround speakers and a subwoofer for true 5.1 surround sound down the line. It is also sold on Amazon.

Samsung’s Dolby Atmos sound system (8/10, WIRED Recommends) comes with a huge amount of drivers in the tape, plus two surround speakers and a subwoofer. The wireless speakers are paired instantly, requiring you to plug a power cord and HDMI cable into your TV. It is also sold at Walmart. For more options, see our guide to the best soundtracks.

Computer and games

Now is a great time to come down with new gaming headphones and a monitor or upgrade your video call lighting.

We are big fans of HyperX gaming headphones, which come with comfortable ear pads and decent-sounding microphones. This is not a huge discount, but they are still under $ 100. You really can’t go wrong with this couple.

This 27-inch gaming monitor comes with 4K resolution, Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync, which means it will sync perfectly with your graphics card. It also has an elegant diamond-shaped design with a built-in stand that is easily adjustable in height.

It doesn’t have the same sleek design as the HP Omen above, but this LG monitor is also great for gaming, with AMD Freesync and Nvidia G-Sync on board. The curved lower stand keeps it stable, but we would choose a better installation if there is little space on your desk. You can also order it specially at B&H Photo.

Dell XPS has been one of our favorite laptops for many generations, thanks to its practical, lightweight design, great screen and stable battery life. This one comes with a 256 gigabyte hard drive, 8 gigabytes of RAM and an Intel Core i5. It’s not the fastest laptop ever, but it’s a solid purchase for students or those who need something just to work on the go.

If you want to start playing games, you probably need to upgrade your router. We tested and liked this one, but see our router purchase guide for more options.
