Autumn is in aiirrrrrrr….
Okay, not really. It’s still like 100 degrees here, but we can pretend. 😉
I’m a summer girl at heart, but something about leaving September makes me a little excited about all the autumn stuff. I look forward to Halloween decorations, sweaters, jeans and all the pumpkin stuff. (I slid a pumpkin on our doorstep when the pilot was not looking and will slowly start crawling decor over the next few weeks muahaha.)
I ordered a shipment from Trunk Club as a little autumn refresh and decided to share the delicacies! I ALWAYS look forward to Trunk Club, especially because I know that everything will be of excellent quality, and the stylists really take the time and take care of the choice of items that work with my lifestyle. (<- Education / teaching, mom's life, random events or dinner evenings)
Here’s what I got in my last trunk!
1. Live pocket high-waisted shorts
I added these Zella shorts to my shipment at the Trunk Club and immediately realized they were guards. I have two more pairs and I wear them all the time. These are like the short version of my favorite leggings. Sentence: keep
2. The adventure of free people awaits a fleece jacket
When I first took this Free People jacket out of the box, I thought it would be too thick and bulky for the Arizona winters. It is not bulky at all and is cozy and light. I loved the color and the fabric, so I decided to do it. Sentence: keep
3. Women’s Camisole insert
It’s a pretty colorful camisole with lace details and looks more expensive than it is. (I think it sold for $ 35?) I wouldn’t keep it, but I have a feeling I don’t have many “nicer” everyday tops; mostly just buttons and tees. I decided it would be cute with jeans and a sweater as we headed to cooler weather, so I kept it. Sentence: keep
4. Reform dress
This dress is one of the reasons I love Trunk Club. They send me some items that are in trend that I would not choose for myself, and push me slightly out of my comfort zone. Although I loved the cut and fabric of this dress, I was not a big fan of color. Sentence: return. However, I can order it in this color of wine!
5. Rails Jasmine Minidress
Rails is one of my favorite everyday brands, so I was depressed about this dress. I’m a big fan of everything animal print, but in the end I felt that the cut of the dress with the print happens too much. Sentence: return.
6. Free People Print Clare Tee
I had the feeling that this T-shirt would be a guardian. The fabric is super soft and comfortable and I love the camouflage print. Cute with jeans or leggings and my Golden Goose sneakers. Sentence: guard
7. AG Farrah slim jeans with a high waist

These are my favorite skinny jeans from last season, and although I know that skinny jeans are “out”, I will probably wear them forever and forever. Amen. I think skinny jeans are a lot more flattering (especially for shorter peeks, like yours really are), but honestly, they make me happy, so I keep them in rotation. 8. Crop Straight high waist jeans
The jeans are here! These straight-leg jeans are a more current style. I thought for sure that they would look strange to me, but I actually liked them ?? I decided to postpone for now, but I can definitely invest in a pair when it gets cooler. Sentence: return
I also got this fake neck tennis, this belt and these boots, but I knew I wouldn’t keep them, so I didn’t take pictures.
So tell me, friends: are you a team of skinny jeans or straight / wide jeans? Any favorite brands?
