Roommates, one thing for some landlords, they willeavesdrop on your orders for work orders while reading, but you won’t hesitate to find anything to eat up your deposit. Earlier this week, Twitter user @becca__lr created a viral moment in which he shared his story about his previous landlord, inspiring hundreds of others to do the same.
“Remembering when I moved out my first studio apartment and left a box of chocolates and nice coffee on the side as a gift to the building manager and received a fee of 20 [euros] to remove residual personal belongings, “Becca wrote on Twitter.
Obviously, this story of happy landlords sounds true to tenants overseas. From the United States to Australia and the United Kingdom, landlords are here and accruing these new relocation fees. Here are some horrible stories shared on the short-form platform that stood out!

“You never do a good shit !! I cleaned and left an extra garbage bag because I just didn’t use it and I got $ 200 because they said it took a whole garbage bag to throw away one garbage bag, “they wrote on Twitter.
Man-made falls not quite
Not this landlord forgets about their own things stored in the property!
“The landlord asked for an additional monthly rent after we moved out,” Twitter user Ned Ryerson wrote on Twitter. “For the furniture left in the basement. These were his mother’s furniture, which he placed in the basement when we moved in.
Who put this hole here?
Twitter user @lostwanderfound turned to his owner, trying to charge him for an existing door.
“I had a landlord try to steal my bond because there was a hole in the door,” the consumer wrote. “It was a cat’s door. Which was already there when I loved. “

“If the landlord had bought my apartment building in the middle of my lease, then he tried to keep half of my deposit because he said he didn’t know what it looked like when I moved in.
