Celebrity or not, Jamie Foxx is like any other father when it comes to boys trying to date his little girl, but luckily for him he has gangs of celebrities to do his dirty work.
As he advertised his upcoming book, “Act Like You Make Sense,” in Tonight, Jamie recalled a time when he had to use one of his famous contacts to pressure his daughter’s boyfriend. Jamie said Snoop Dogg was at his home when he made Snoop talk to the young man to make sure the man was in line and did the right thing with his daughter.
“What happened was my daughter, who didn’t know I had already checked on her ex-boyfriend, he was coming to the crib and Snoop happened to be there,” Jamie explained. “I said, ‘Snoop, he’s right there. Shake it. “
Jamie continued, “Snoop went to my daughter’s boyfriend and just said, ‘Hey, what’s up? What’s going on, because Hey, look here, you know we’re her uncles, do you understand what I’m saying? So act accordingly, my friend. ”
It makes sense that Jamie managed to have a “Bad Boys 2” moment with Uncle Snoop. The two have known each other for years and will actually play together in the upcoming Netflix movie “Daily Shift.”
Despite the title, the film is actually a vampire comedy that will be released in 2022, according to Hip Hop DX.
Clearly, Snoop Dogg admires the talent of his friend Jamie. If anyone ever plays Snoop in a biopic, the rap legend has made it clear that he must be good at the level of Jamie Foxx.
“I don’t know who can play me,” Snoop said earlier this year. “I think he will have to win me over. When I think of someone playing you, I remember how Jamie Foxx played Ray [Charles]. It was like, on the spot. So I’m going to have to find Jamie Foxx or someone who can actually become a Snoop Dogg on screen and give me this whole item.
