Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

Hello Hello! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? We have an event at the children’s school, it’s my dad’s birthday and we have some friends swimming on Sunday afternoon. I look forward to a few restrained days, potentially doing some housework in the house (the explosion of laundry after the holidays is real) and catching a hot yoga class. I will be glad to hear what you have!

It’s time for the weekly Faves Friday party. Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and online. And I love hearing about your loved ones, so please call out something you love, or something funny / inspiring / educational that you read or watched this week.

Fashion + beauty:

The holiday pre-sale of Beautycounter is here for consultants and I am so excited about it! I use this opportunity to receive gift sets for new team consultants and my best clients, for family and friends, as well as some extras for myself. Expect festive goodies … it will be amazing.

This pink lily dress! The TBH booty is a bit transparent, but is perfect with a denim shirt or jacket tied around your waist. It’s not the * best * quality, but for a more modern piece it was a good deal.

(The girls’ sandals are here. They’re so cute and great quality. I love how Macy smiles in this photo!)

Some favorites from our trip to Sedona:

Musher’s secret for dogs. I ordered this to protect Macy’s paws as we traveled. The sand wasn’t very hot at all, but I just wanted to make sure her little paws were protected. It works so well. Her paws were unharmed and we walked for several hours every day. I also read in the reviews that it works well [human] cracked heel in winter. He is completely trying this.

Travel backpacks for girls! They are cheaper than Camelbaks and have great reviews. I decided to do it and they love them. It was nice to give them control over when they wanted water (instead of having to ask one of us about their water bottles), and I feel like they drank MUCH more water that way. We will absolutely use them for local and future hikes.

Fitness + good nutrition:

I finally have time to record videos for the blog next week! Something special you would like to see?

I can’t wait to try these tempeh maple mustard bowls.

This delicious Acai bowl from Berry Divine here in Tucson. Professional advice: always add peanut butter. My acai recipe is here!

How to switch to pulling

Easy salad dressings.

If you haven’t tried Les Mills On Demand yet, use my link for 30 days for free! I have been a big fan for years and the training is always good. I know that many of us find a way to return to the routine with children at school and this is the ideal option to do at home with zero travel time.

Happy Friday, friends!
