Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

Hello friends! Happy Friday! How is the week so far? Thank you so much for your incredible Fit Team enthusiasm and welcome to our new members! I am so excited to have you in the team and I can’t wait to hear how you like the new platform + our upcoming trainings in November. If you want more information about Fit Team, take a look at this page. The price will jump tonight at midnight!

How is the week so far? I hope you did great. The girls are on autumn vacation, so we plan to stay in a local hotel for one night. We were also on a mission to check out all the pumpkin spots and fall festivals.

Last weekend we went to the Marana pumpkin patch:

(One of my favorite headbands; the link is here)

See the girls in the back – the best ever:

(PS this ride was called Cornado lol)

we ate pumpkin pie and P, always fearless, went for a huge zipline.

We also met some of the girls’ girlfriends from school to see each other Adam ‘s Family 2. I had to give him 5/10, but the wonderful company (the best popcorn Roadhouse), which increased the pleasure of the film to 10.

What’s going on this weekend? I hope you have a great thing ahead. We are going to a happy hour at a friend’s house tonight, Liv has her first gymnastics competition (!!!), another autumn festival and a birthday party on Sunday. I don’t even care that our schedule is full until December – it’s good to have something to do and to look forward to.

It’s time for the weekly Faves Friday party! Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and online. I always like to hear about your loved ones, so please call something you love in the comments section below.

Read, watch, listen:

The second season of The babysitter’s club came out (on Netflix) and I can’t wait to watch it with the girls. We liked last season! Great nostalgia for me and that caught Liv in the books.

I started this book and ommmggggggg it is intense. I took it from Book of the Month, and although I’ve never read horror books or anything scary, you all promised me on Instagram that it wasn’t that bad. Although it’s definitely scary, it’s intense, intriguing and I’m completely sucked. I’ll probably finish it this weekend.

Be sure to check out the podcast episode this week here! We talked about recovery after birth and recovery of abdominal function after the baby.

I liked this post from my friend Julie.

Fashion + beauty:

Okay, how do we feel about the shacket trend? Are we getting involved in this? I bought this one from Shopbop (it’s sold out), but so many of them look like cubes and loggers. Do you have a shacket (I even hate the word)? Please tell me about it!

Beautycounter’s new cream blushes are here!

Next week we have a little virtual popup menu and it would be so much fun if you could join us! We will share some tips and gifts for skin care – everything you need to get your amenities and favorite drink. Please let me know if you succeed (in the comments or email gina@fitnessista.com) and I will send you the call information!

I’m so glad I kept this plaid shirt from my last luggage club. I have already worn it twice with jeans and leggings + low sneakers.

Fitness + good nutrition:

Try this pumpkin smoothie bowl. One of my favorites for fall!

Balls with peanut butter bliss.

New mixtures of nuts and seeds from Sakara! (My XOGINAH code gives you a 20% discount.) They are individually packaged and are ideal for snacks on the go. They are perfectly seasoned and have very simple ingredients.

How to store and cook different types of cereals.

Thai coconut soup with tofu and rice.

Happy Friday, friends!

xo
